What to expect
As a Buyer:
In the event you are obtaining a new loan, we will coordinate with the lender to expedite the close of escrow. You must make arrangements for homeowners insurance and provide us with contact information. Once the loan is approved, the lender will generally send final loan documents to escrow. We will call you with an appointment to sign the loan documents and ask you to bring in or wire your closing funds. The closing funds must be in the form of a cashier's check or wired funds. You will need to provide legal identification at the loan signing appointment, as some documents must be signed before a Notary Public. We will arrange for a Notary Public to be available for you. At this stage, the closing date is often less than a week away.
